Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is also known as AHSEC. This is a board of education under the state government of Assam. In the state Assam this board regulates the higher secondary (10+2 stage) education. According to the history details the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council was founded by Assam state government on 1st July 1984 to regulate, supervise and develop the system of higher secondary education in the State of Assam.
